Richmond's matchup on Tuesday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They put the hurt on the Jay County Patriots with a sharp 6-1 victory. Considering Richmond have won six contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Jay County with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ben Holliday (2), Bayron Garcia-Gomez (2), and Jordan Light (2).

The win was the fifth in a row for Richmond, bringing their record up to 9-2. As for Jay County, they now have a losing record of 4-5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Richmond will square off against Connersville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jay County, they will take on Bellmont at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.
