Soccer Recap: Molina Comes Up Short

After flying high against Eastern Hills last Friday, Molina came back down to earth. The Molina Jaguars fell 4-2 to the Spruce Timberwolves on Tuesday. If the Jaguars were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mariano Barbosa wasn't going to let Spruce walk away unscathed as he scored both of Molina's goals, bringing his season total up to three goals.

Molina's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-1. As for Spruce, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Molina will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on South Oak Cliff at 7:30 p.m. on January 21st. As for Spruce, they will face off against Hillcrest at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
