Basketball Recap: Minooka Extends Home Winning Streak to Ten

There's no place like home for Minooka, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against the Plainfield Central Wildcats by a score of 64-51 on Tuesday. With that win, the Indians brought their scoring average up to 50.3 points per game.

It was another big night for Madelyn Kiper, who went 12 of 27 en route to 29 points and eight rebounds. Sami Samuilis was another key player, putting up nine points and four steals.

Minooka smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in three consecutive games.

Minooka's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-9.
