Summit came out on top against Pope John Paul II on Friday thanks in part to Anne Marie Richards's efforts. Richards went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one run, which was good enough to set a new career-high in RBI.

Coming up, Richards and Summit will square off against Friendship Christian at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Richards had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their contest back in March of 2023 6-2.
