South Decatur extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Taylor Somers. The Cougars walked away with a 53-43 win over the Rising Sun Shiners on Friday thanks in part to Somers, who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds. Somers is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

South Decatur's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Rising Sun, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Decatur will welcome Columbus Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Rising Sun, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Switzerland County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
