Jocelyn Melendez Game Report: @ Point Pleasant Boro

Brick Memorial had to settle for second on Friday, but Jocelyn Melendez sure wasn't going down easily. Melendez produced her best game of the campaign: she went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double was her first of the season.

Looking ahead, Melendez and Brick Memorial will face off against Rumson-Fair Haven at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Sadly, Melendez's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Mustangs' five-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Melendez and the Mustangs surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Monday's match.
