Soccer Game Preview: Columbus vs. Lodi

The Columbus Cardinals will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Lodi Blue Devils at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbus has given up an average of 3.5 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Friday just wasn't the day for Columbus' offense. They lost 5-0 to Luther Prep on Friday. Columbus haven't had much luck with Luther Prep recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Lodi was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They fell just short of Janesville Parker by a score of 2-1.

Columbus' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lodi, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Columbus skirted past Lodi 2-1 when the teams last played back in May of 2025. Do the Cardinals have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
