Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Santiago walked away with it. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Westlake Warriors on Wednesday, sneaking past 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Sharks sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Logan Chambers paced Santiago's offense, picking up 16 kills. Chambers got some help from Carson Chambers and his 37 assists. Finally, Pierce Willardson kept Santiago's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.
Santiago's win bumped their record up to 23-8. As for Westlake, their loss dropped their record down to 19-10.
As of now, neither Santiago nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
