Basketball Game Preview: Sturgis Trojans vs. Edwardsburg Eddies

Sturgis is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They took a 44-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Niles. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 473rd, while the Vikings are ranked 227th).

Everything went Edwardsburg's way against St. Joseph as Edwardsburg made off with a 57-31 win. The Eddies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season.

Edwardsburg has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.2 points over those games. As for Sturgis, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13.
