Basketball Recap: Henrietta Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Henrietta faced off against Jacksboro on Friday. The Henrietta Bearcats fell 51-43 to the Jacksboro Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bearcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-40 back in December of 2024.

It was another big night for Hayden Walker, who went 6 for 15 en route to 18 points along with six rebounds and four steals for Jacksboro. Brailyn Tullous was another key player, putting up eight points and six boards.

Henrietta's defeat dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Jacksboro, they moved to 16-10 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Henrietta will host City View at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. City View will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Henrietta surely won't give up without a fight. Jacksboro has already played their next contest (against Bowie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
