Volleyball Recap: South Salem Comes Up Short

South Salem was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Centennial Huskies.

South Salem was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-18.

South Salem's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Centennial, their victory bumped their record up to 18-10.

South Salem didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Sacred Heart Prep on the 27th. As for Centennial, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Millennium on the 27th.
