Baseball Recap: Greenfield-Central Beats Pendleton Heights for Their Third Straight Victory

With a playoff win on the line, Greenfield-Central rose to the challenge on Monday. They skirted past the Pendleton Heights Arabians 1-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cougars have posted since May 6th.

Parker Rhodes looked comfortable as he pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Greenfield-Central is 4-2 when he allows at most two walks, but 11-12 otherwise.

The win (which was Greenfield-Central's third in a row) raised their record to 15-14.
