Basketball Recap: Bloomfield Comes Up Short

Bloomfield lost against Lordstown back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bloomfield Cardinals had to suffer through a 66-35 loss at the hands of the Lordstown Red Devils.

Bloomfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lordstown, their victory ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bloomfield won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Maplewood at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lordstown, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll take on Badger at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lordstown is facing Badger at the right time seeing as Badger is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
