Football Recap: Los Altos Eagles vs. Terra Nova Tigers
Friday just wasn't the day for Los Altos's offense. They were dealt a 27-0 defeat at the hands of the Terra Nova Tigers on Friday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Eagles haven't been shut out since back in August.
Los Altos' loss came despite strong showings from Gavin Wu and Manny Contreras. Wu rushed for 103 yards, while Contreras rushed for 58 yards on only six carries.
Terra Nova got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Austin Snead out in front who rushed for 107 yards and one TD, and also picked up 35 receiving yards. Joey Donati was in the mix too, providing the Tigers with two touchdowns.
Los Altos is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5. As for Terra Nova, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
