Morenci put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Pueblo Warriors as the Morenci Wildcats made off with an 82-58 win. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Pueblo lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Aiden Cruz, who went 9 for 20 on his way to 22 points and eight rebounds. Cruz's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Carranza, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 16 points in addition to six steals and five assists.

Morenci's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Pueblo, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Morenci has already played their next contest, a 60-59 win against Fort Thomas on the 20th. As for Pueblo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 49-46 defeat against St. Johns on the 20th.
