Soccer Recap: South Lenoir Starts Season with Victory Against Havelock

South Lenoir had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Havelock Rams by a score of 6-4. It was an even better day for Michael Chavez as he scored four goals for his team.

This is the second loss in a row for Havelock and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, South Lenoir will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Lejeune at 6:00 p.m. As for Havelock, they will head out to face off against D.H. Conley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
