Volleyball Recap: Mead Panthers vs. Eastlake Wolves
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mead can now relate to. They fell just short of the Eastlake Wolves by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2019.
Mead's loss dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Eastlake, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 19 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 24-11 record this season.
Mead does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eastlake, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Tahoma on the 23rd.
