Catskill has gone a perfect 3-0 against Watervliet recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Cats will face off against the Cannoneers at 12:00 p.m. Catskill is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Coxsackie-Athens hit Catskill with a five-run sixth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Cats came up short against the Indians, falling 17-9.

Meanwhile, Watervliet fell victim to Taconic Hills and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 11-0 to the Titans. The Cannoneers haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Watervliet's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Catskill, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Catskill skirted past Watervliet 5-4 when the teams last played back in April of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
