Football Game Preview: Llano Yellowjackets vs. Ingram Moore Warriors + How To Watch

Llano has gone a perfect 3-0 against Ingram Moore recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Yellowjackets will welcome the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a five-game winning streak alive.

On Friday, Llano didn't have too much trouble with Marion as they won 44-27. Given the Yellowjackets' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 285th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 582nd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Jose Sillas and Cole Landers. Sillas rushed for 179 yards and a pair of TDs while Landers rushed for 112 yards and two scores on only 15 carries. Those 179 rushing yards gave Sillas a new career-high.

Llano didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Marion to a completion percentage of just 47.1%. The team can thank Austin Humphries for the heroic effort on defense: he. Llano wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 69.6%.

Meanwhile, while Ingram Moore put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Luling. The Warriors claimed a resounding 39-0 victory over the Eagles. That 39 point margin sets a new team best for the Warriors this season.

Llano's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Ingram Moore, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Llano took their victory against Ingram Moore in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 35-14 score. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Warriors' Kye Hightower, who rushed for 104 yards and one touchdown. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be easier for the Yellowjackets to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
