Volleyball Recap: Muskegon Comes Up Short

Muskegon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Reeths-Puffer Rockets, falling 3-0. If the Big Reds were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Rockets when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Muskegon's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Reeths-Puffer, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-9.

Coming up, Muskegon will square off against Jenison at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Reeths-Puffer, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against West Michigan Aviation Academy on the 20th.
