Mandeville won the last time they faced Lutcher and things went their way on Saturday too. The Skippers came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. While the Skippers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-26), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Their offense was headlined by Soraya Amorajabi and Addison Hunter, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Julia Marengo and her 20 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Mandeville has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Lutcher, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Mandeville has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Fontainebleau on the 18th. As for Lutcher, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Hahnville on the 16th.
