Soccer Game Preview: Winfield vs. Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience

The Winfield Warriors will head out on the road to challenge the Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience Owls at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Winfield's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Gateway Science Academy 8-0.

Meanwhile, Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience made easy work of University City on Friday and carried off a 6-0 victory. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 86th, while University City are ranked 220th).

Collegiate Medicine & Bioscience's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 43 goals over those six matches. As for Winfield, their win bumped their record up to 14-6-1.
