It was a good run, but Jefferson Davis Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Colleton Prep Academy War Hawks by a score of 7-5. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 20-0 to the War Hawks when the teams met back in March of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Colson Loadholt made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Jefferson Davis Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Colleton Prep Academy, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-7.
