Basketball Game Preview: Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades vs. Creighton Bulldogs

The Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades will take on the Creighton Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Chambers/Wheeler Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.5 points per game this season.

On Tuesday, Chambers/Wheeler Central beat Twin Loup 56-47. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Renegades.

Elijah Heinz had an outrageously good game as he posted 24 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Beau Butterfield, who earned 14 points.

Meanwhile, everything went Creighton's way against Bloomfield on Friday as Creighton made off with a 48-25 win.

Creighton's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Chambers/Wheeler Central, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Chambers/Wheeler Central didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Creighton when the teams last played back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 50-44 victory. Does Chambers/Wheeler Central have another victory up their sleeve, or will Creighton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
