Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Asheboro). They were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the Eastern Guilford Wildcats on Tuesday. The match was close at halftime, but Asheboro turned on the heat in the second half with nine goals.

Their offense was hitting Eastern Guilford from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Zamire Bush led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Asheboro is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 46 goals over those seven matchups. As for Eastern Guilford, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-14-1.
