Baseball Recap: Point Loma Pointers vs. Cathedral Catholic Dons
Point Loma hadn't done well against Cathedral Catholic recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Pointers skirted past the Dons 1-0. This was a revenge game for the Pointers: when they faced off against the Dons two weeks ago, they had to take a 12-6 loss.
Luis Lara tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
