Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Brentwood Christian walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Grapevine Faith Christian Lions with a sharp 78-53 victory on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Bears sure are getting used to it with their 12th in a row.

Despite the loss, Grapevine Faith Christian still got an impressive performance from Landon Harlin, who went 8-for-18 to rack up 18 points in addition to five boards and four steals. Another player making a difference was Brennen Byrd, who posted ten points and seven rebounds.

Brentwood Christian's win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 27-8. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.6 points over those games. As for Grapevine Faith Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 28-9 record this season.
