Football Game Preview: West Blocton Tigers vs. Bibb County Choctaws

West Blocton hasn't had much luck against Bibb County recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Tigers will challenge the Choctaws at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

West Blocton proved they can win big on September 12th (they won by 23) and last Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Oak Grove 18-17.

Meanwhile, Bibb County waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 22-21 W against the Jaguars. The 22-point effort marked the Choctaws' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Bibb County, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

West Blocton came up short against Bibb County in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 33-21. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
