Plant City lost to Durant back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Raiders put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-17, 25-19.

Olivia Ennis paced Plant City's offense, picking up 12 kills. Ennis got some help from Mimi Buikema and her 22 assists. Ennis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Plant City's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Durant, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Plant City will head out to challenge Freedom at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Durant, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Hillsborough at 7:30 p.m. The last three games the Terriers have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
