South Bend Saint Joseph waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the South Bend Washington Panthers get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. Considering the Huskies have won 13 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Josh Dolniak looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Joe Washburn was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played. Dallas Downey was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

South Bend Saint Joseph always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .559. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Bend Washington only posted an OBP of .222.

South Bend Saint Joseph's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for South Bend Washington, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-11.

South Bend Saint Joseph will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
