Softball Recap: South Bend Saint Joseph Takes a Loss

South Bend Saint Joseph managed to slip by Hamilton Southeastern the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Huskies came up short against the Royals on Saturday, falling 12-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Huskies have suffered since April 25th.

Kiley Weinberg made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one double.

South Bend Saint Joseph now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Hamilton Southeastern, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-6.

Coincidentally, South Bend Saint Joseph and Hamilton Southeastern will both be playing Carroll the next time they take the field. The Royals will head out to face the Chargers at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Huskies will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
