Basketball Recap: Tysen Jenkins Key Part of Team Effort in Lions Win

It was a proper cat-fight when Owasso Preparatory Academy challenged Wright Christian on Thursday. The Lions were the clear victors by a 47-27 margin over the Wildcats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Owasso Preparatory Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tysen Jenkins, who posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Eric Rinas, who scored 15 points.

Owasso Preparatory Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Wright Christian, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Owasso Preparatory Academy will head out to take on Aspire HomeSchool on Tuesday. As for Wright Christian, they will host Mingo Valley Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
