Football Recap: Navarro Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Navarro made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Wimberley, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Panthers fell just short of the Texans by a score of 31-28 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Texans: they've now lost six in a row.

Jackson Parker looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 182 yards and three TDs. Those three passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Navarro's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Wimberley, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coincidentally, Navarro and Wimberley will both be playing Salado the next time they take the field. The Panthers will host the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Texans will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on October 10.
