Soccer Recap: Huntingdon's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Huntingdon's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Southern Huntingdon County Rockets a 5-0 shutout. The win was some much needed relief for Huntingdon as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

Huntingdon's victory bumped their record up to 3-7-4. As for Southern Huntingdon County, their record now sits at 0-11.

Huntingdon and Southern Huntingdon County could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Bearcats (ranked 314th) will meet Central (ranked 151st) at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Southern Huntingdon County will challenge Juniata at 4:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank disadvantage (450 vs. 216).
