JJ Wetters was dynamite on Friday, putting up 18 points along with six assists and three steals. As if that's not impressive enough, the match was his fifth in a row with three or more steals. On the season, he has averaged 14 points, 3.7 steals, and 7 assists.

Wetters and The Vanguard School will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Ellicott at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. The Coursers got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Thunderhawks, probably because Wetters had a solid game then too: he posted six points in addition to 12 assists and three steals.
