Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Elko). They breezed past the Sparks Railroaders to the tune of 55-7 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Railroaders: they've now won five in a row.

Leading Elko to victory were Ethan Kraintz and Hagen Robinson. Kraintz threw for 135 yards and three touchdowns while completing 90% of his passes, while Robinson rushed for 39 yards and one TD. The dominant performance also gave Kraintz a new career-high in passer rating (168.8).

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Elko, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Coy Jones, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Elko's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Sparks, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Elko has already played their next contest, a 31-28 victory against Churchill County on the 17th. As for Sparks, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 41-0 loss against Truckee on the 16th.
