Pescadero is 8-1 against Summit Preparatory since September of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Vikings will face off against the Huskies at 6:30 p.m. Pescadero will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Pescadero made easy work of KIPP Esperanza and carried off a 3-0 win.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-11, 25-16.

Pescadero found their leader in sophomore Quince Markegard, who had 14 aces and three digs.

Pescadero was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 36 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in ten consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Summit Preparatory unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to East Palo Alto Academy.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-11, 25-11.

Summit Preparatory now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Pescadero, their victory bumped their record up to 17-3.

Everything went Pescadero's way against Summit Preparatory when the teams last played back in September, as Pescadero made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
