Volleyball Recap: Brookline Comes Up Short

After flying high against Braintree last Tuesday, Brookline came back down to earth. The Warriors fell 3-1 to the Wellesley Raiders on Tuesday. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Raiders earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Brookline's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-3. As for Wellesley, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Brookline will welcome Natick at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wellesley, they will venture away from home to square off against Braintree at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
