Softball Recap: Make It 14 in a Row for Palo Verde

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Palo Verde walked away with it. They blew past the Arbor View Aggies 14-4 on Friday. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 games by six runs or more this season.

Palo Verde got a massive performance out of Halle Law, who fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3. That's the most RBI Law has posted since back in March of 2025. Samantha Williams was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Palo Verde lost a few balls and finished the game with four home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Arbor View only launched one.

The win was the 14th in a row for Palo Verde, bringing their record up to 21-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Arbor View, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 26-9.

As of now, neither Palo Verde nor the Aggies have any future games scheduled.
