King Academy's game back in February was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans as the King Academy Knights made off with a 16-8 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Knights considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Dallas Hill was incredible, scoring two runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Burbank, who scored two runs while going 1-for-4.

The victory got King Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Ridge Spring-Monetta, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King Academy will welcome Richard Winn Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give King Academy their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Ridge Spring-Monetta, they will be playing at home against Pelion at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ridge Spring-Monetta has given up an average of 16.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
