Softball Recap: Burges Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Burges was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They lost 16-0 to the Hanks Knights. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Knights: they've now lost nine in a row.

Burges now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Hanks, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Burges and Hanks will both be playing Eastlake the next time they take the field. Burges will head out to face Eastlake at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, while Hanks will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
