Baseball Recap: Paraclete Find Success

Paraclete never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Spirits have posted since February 24th.

Carlo Ramirez looked comfortable as he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He is becoming a predictor of Paraclete's success: when he allows at most two earned runs the team is 2-1 (and 8-12 when he doesn't).

At the plate, Paraclete's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Antonio Longobardi, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one double.

The Spirits are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Sierra Canyon, they will host Kennedy at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
