Clay County had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They blew past the Upperman Bees 13-1. While the Bulldogs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-11-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Clay County's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Upperman, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. As for Upperman, they will venture away from home to challenge Livingston Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
