Basketball Game Preview: Bonanza Bengals vs. Eldorado Firehawks

The Bonanza Bengals will face off against the Eldorado Firehawks at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Bonanza has now lost 12 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 3.

Last Wednesday, Bonanza was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 32-28 to Cheyenne.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 80-13, which was the final score in Eldorado's tilt against Legacy on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Firehawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nevada basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Longhorns are ranked 16th).

Eldorado's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-10. As for Bonanza, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-13.
