Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask New Creation Christian Academy). They blew past the Skipstone Academy Warriors 86-33 on Friday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 49-16.

New Creation Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Noah Carey, who posted 13 points along with seven assists and seven boards. Gavin Zaworski was another key player, going 6-for-8 to rack up 14 points and seven rebounds.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: New Creation Christian Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 26 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Skipstone Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Scooter Barkley, who put up 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Cloud, who scored nine points.

The victory made it two in a row for New Creation Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 8-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.0 points over those games. As for Skipstone Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

New Creation Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-26 victory against Strong Rock Christian on the 13th. As for Skipstone Academy, they will be home for the holidays to greet Creekside Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors' defense better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 70.9 points per game this season.
