Soccer Recap: Soldotna Plays Ranked Game

Soldotna faced Palmer in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Soldotna's first draw of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Daniel Heath, who's now up to ten this season.

Soldotna's draw gives them a new season record of 9-4-1. As for Palmer, they moved theirs to 11-1-3.

Coincidentally, Soldotna and Palmer will both be playing Grace Christian the next time they take the pitch. The Stars will head out to face the Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Moose will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
