Baseball Recap: High Point Central Takes a Loss

High Point Central lost against Eastern Guilford back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The High Point Central Bison came up short against the Eastern Guilford Wildcats, falling 13-1.

High Point Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Eastern Guilford, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. High Point Central is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will take on Thomasville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Eastern Guilford, they will head out to face off against Eastern Alamance at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eastern Alamance's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Eastern Guilford's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
