Baseball Recap: Carrizo Springs Comes Up Short

Carrizo Springs lost against Somerset back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 11-1.

Carrizo Springs saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tristan Navarro, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Carrizo Springs has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-7 record this season. As for Somerset, the victory got them back to even at 13-13.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Carrizo Springs is set to take on their familiar foe Pearsall at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Somerset will face off against rival Pleasanton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
