Soccer Recap: Euclid Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Euclid had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Beachwood Bison on Tuesday, falling 14-0. The defeat continues a trend for Euclid in their meetings with Beachwood: they've now lost six in a row.

The win keeps Beachwood at an undefeated 5-0-1.

Coming up, Euclid will challenge Lorain at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Euclid will be up against Lorain's rather soft defense (which has allowed five goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Beachwood, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Fairview at 7:00 p.m.
