Softball Game Preview: Whiteland Warriors vs. Decatur Central Hawks

The Whiteland Warriors will square off against the Decatur Central Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Whiteland is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Shelbyville just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 10-5 to the Golden Bears.

Meanwhile, Decatur Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Plainfield.

Decatur Central saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Baylie Polston, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Decatur Central's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Whiteland, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.
